There's been a slight shift here in my life, the world of birth that has so greatly been my focus for the past year and few months has now been taken over with wedding plans. I am consumed with planning, I wake up planning, I plan all day long while at work, I visit with Blake each evening about plans, and when I finally am able to lay my head down and close my eyes, I dream about wedding plans.
Blake flew out a few weeks back and since we had been talking about getting married, I decided he needed to see the place I had always wanted to get married. I took him out to the ranch in Paso and described how I would decorate the barn. After riding the quads up to the hilltop under the lone oak where I have always wanted my wedding ceremony, I stood there making grand hand gestures trying to share the picture I had in my head, you know, for the someday when we get married. I turned back around to face him and there he was, down on his knee holding out my ring. Now just let me tell you..... my ring is amazing, I'm not sure if I'm more in love with the ring or the handsome man who will become my husband on May 3, 2014.

Ok not really, I actually love him more than I ever knew I was capable of loving someone. He is so good to me, and loves me unconditionally. We are not opposites so I'm not sure "opposites attract" works very well in our case. We enjoy so many of the same interests, hobbies, and activities. But that's awesome, because we never run out of things we want to do together!
In one short week we managed to go ride quads out in the country- which led to him on one knee........
.... we drove up to the mountains and enjoyed a weekend in the snow.....
.... And we even got in a gorgeous day at the beach with the triplets I nanny for .....
It was a great week!
